You've heard about the dangers of AI and machines taking over humankind (Terminator meets Black Mirror type of thing), but there is an invisible thread that has already started to take over our lives. Autocorrect. It poses as your best friend, promising to make you look professional at your new job, or to save your reputation when faced with the most letter-filled words of the English language. It even goes as far as to give you suggestions that will make your grammar sound more glamorous and engaging, truly making you feel like you can trust it.

Nonetheless, make no mistake. It will betray you the moment you have to send an important communication to your most intimidating boss, or when you're attempting to introduce yourself as the new office hire. When you least expect it, it will change your spelling and help create a core memory in your brain that will keep you up at night every once in a while, until you're a hundred years old. If it makes you feel any better, you are certainly not alone on this ship.

We've all been there. It doesn't really matter how much technology has evolved in these past few years; work emails really have not. You double-check, you triple-check, you call a friend to proofread it for you, and still, as soon as you revisit it after you have just pressed the send button, you feel the sudden urge to crawl under your desk and disappear for the day (or the rest of the week, depending on the severity of the typo). You ended up changing a "u" for an "a" and an "r" for an "f". Might not feel like such a big deal, but the final result is just pure comedy gold.

Fear not. We can help you. Not really with any solution or something of the sort because, if we are being completely honest here, we made most of these mistakes on our morning emails alone.
