Guest tries to enter a closed campground to park their car, and instead they end up blowing their tires with the spikes, now they are upset the front desk won't fix it: 'They were SHOCKED that I said they needed to figure it out themself'

What are YOU (underpaid front desk employee) going to do about THIS (my wrongdoing)?

I find it equally annoying and hilarious when a client decides that their wrongdoing is the responsibility of a customer service employee. Is annoying because, of course, it is the customer's fault, and having to explain that to them a million times is the worst part of the job, only surpassed by the moment they start to yell as if that would change anything. But I can lie. It is hilarious. It's a person who thinks that their conscious act is anybody else's fault. You just have to laugh. What would that be anybody else's problem? Like in this case, why would I bother to help you out when you purposefully run into a place that was closed and had spikes on the entrance to avoid intruders? You knew what you were doing and did it anyway. I feel like this should have been something that you learned in kindergarten, but just in case, your wrongdoings are YOUR responsibility, nobody else's. 

A customer service employee can't just wave a magic wand and fix everything. It doesn't work like that. So make yourself, and adult, responsible for their own messes. After all, there were spikes at the entrance. Who in their right mind would have gone over them? It's crazy and completely insensible. But you know what? That is common behavior with entitled people, especially the part where they try to blame a front desk employee who is just trying to do their job and is definitely not getting paid enough to deal with this. So, next time, think before you act as a normal person would, and maybe you won't get into these kinds of situations ever again. It's not really something that a normal thinking person goes through. I would never drive onto a place that is closed, so, most probably, I would never end up blowing a tire with a spike. Isn't that simple to understand? And even a better lesson. If I ever did, I wouldn't blame anybody else but me. It was MY fault for getting into a closed place in the first place. Wasn't that easy enough to understand?
