So, how did your first day of fall go?

Yesterday, my friends and I decided to celebrate the fall equinox with midnight margaritas. That, of course, meant we had to see Practical Magic 2 beforehand. I'm no movie critic, but it was eh… Sorry, not sorry. Like, there was no yearning within the romance, there was no depth to the drama, and half of the new characters hardly got a backstory at all. Honestly, disappointed, but I digress. It was good, but it definitely didn't live up to the first one.

ANYWAYS! It's the fall equinox and, wow, I am so excited. I am not the only person who thrives during this time of year. I wish it were longer! Let's gather the memes about it while we can.

A brisk morning breeze, a satisfyingly crunchy leaf, and a pumpkin spice latte: it is fall time! I can't wait to wear my favorite sweaters and hang by bonfires with my besties. Howling at the full harvest moon while we dance around barefoot and ground ourselves before the winter comes! Oh… Maybe that last part is just me and my friends. Either way, autumn is the best season of the year. Sure, not everybody would agree with me on that, but I know there are a lot of people out there who would! Just look at the fall product designs! Marketing experts know that seasonal themes are important, and fall is an extra lucrative one.
For me, well, I've already iterated some of my favorite parts of fall, but I also love the laughter. The kind of dark humor that comes out of the mouths of even the most wholesome friend or family member is simply chef's kiss! And who about all my Twilight fans out here? Do you hear the “hoa hoa hoa” in the air? It's constantly in my ears, turning my landscape into that weird grey filter that they used in the movies. It's magical, whimsical even!

Yes, we know this can be a scary time for many because the Big SAD is near… That's when the sun stops providing that good good chemical in your body with its vitamin-filled rays, and you start feeling grey like the skies. Experts call it SAD, we call it the Big SAD because dang, does it hit ya hard! However, that doesn't mean you need to feel all doom and gloom for fall and winter. It just means you need to enhance the things in your life that make you happy. The little things are a great place to start. So why not scroll through a few more memes than you usually do for the day? Laughter boosts all those feel-good chemicals your body struggles to make in the cold months. Laughter can even strengthen your immune system! So no matter what, getting some good LOLs in during the days when the sun sets earlier is in your best interest.
