Being a cat lady isn't just a hobby. It's a lifestyle, a personality trait, and occasionally a full-time job that pays exclusively in purrs.

Cat ladies know exactly what we're talking about. Your camera roll is 90% cat photos, your clothes are permanently decorated with fur, and you've accepted that you'll never use the bathroom alone again. You might technically pay the rent, but everyone knows who really runs the house.

There's also no such thing as having too many cat-themed things. Cat mugs? Obviously. Cat socks? Essential. A tote bag with a suspiciously familiar feline face on it? Add to cart. If someone sees something covered in whiskers and immediately says, "This reminded me of you," congratulations, you've reached peak cat lady status.

Of course, the actual cats are even more spoiled. Their food probably costs more than yours, they have seventeen sleeping spots, and somehow they still choose the cardboard box their latest order arrived in. You'll spend twenty minutes searching for the purrfect toy only for them to become emotionally attached to a bottle cap.

And we wouldn't have it any other way.

Cat ladies understand the joy of coming home to a little furry face waiting at the door, even if that face is mostly there because dinner is five minutes late. We happily provide treats, chin scritches, warm laps, and around-the-clock service to our feline overlords. In return, we get head boops, biscuit-making sessions, slow blinks, and the occasional honor of being chosen as a napping spot.

So wear that cat hair proudly. Cancel plans because your kitty fell asleep on you. Show everyone the same 47 photos of your cat looking slightly different.

Being a cat lady means having actual fur babies, and yes, we will be referring to them as our children. They rely on us for food, wake us up at ridiculous hours, make messes around the house, and somehow cost us a small fortune. In return, we take approximately 900 photos of them, brag about everything they do, and worry the second they act slightly different. Sounds like parenting to us, just with a lot more whiskers and toe beans.
