‘Shame on whoever did this.’: Dumped dog found hiding in broken tree gets furever home thanks to pup who insistently led her pawrent

We are happy to report that the evil powers that be have been thwarted once again by the work of a wonderful doggo and their pawrent. Time and again these nasty forces of no good have found a way to dump a dog in a secluded place that hardly anyone passes through. But they did not count on the inquisitive nature of the doggo that happened to be on a walk this fateful day and so one more pupper soul has been successfully saved.

The old song tells of how you never quite know what you will find when you walk into the woods. Now, of course said song references a teddy bear's picnic, a delightful event that would shock and surprise anyone who happened upon it. But that is a pawsitive shock and surprise, which is rather different to the sad state in which this story's pupper was found. Just as shocking, just as surprising but with a whole lot more sadness and tears.

Though that pain would be short-lived as before long this doggo was given the care, comfort and kindness it had deserved all along and began to flourish once more. Testament to the resilience of canine kind. So today we celebrate the victory of good over evil and that one more doggo has been saved from a fate that no pup should ever be subjected to. And we commiserate the forces of evil on their loss, because at the end of the day being a good sport is the name of the game.

  • While the childhood song does speak of bears in the woods, the truth is that when you go out in to the woods you never quite know what could come your way. It is no small coincedence that so many tales of wonder and worry have taken place in the forest.

  • While some pawrents are against doggos ever being off leash, it is just that practise which led this pupper to come upon something rather special. Allowing the doggo freedom of movement to find the scent that had gotten lodged in her nose.

  • Goodness, this must have been so scary. Could you imagine seeing your pupper simply disappear into the nothingness of the overgrowth. That eerie silence that comes over you when you suddenly stop moving and the crunch of leaves goes quiet.

  • But it turns out that it was not without good cause that this doggo behaved so out of sorts. She knew that there was a fellow pupper life to be saved and that the fear her pawrent might experience by losing sight of her was worth it.

  • The doggo they found was in pretty poor condition. While it was unclear whether this doggo had spent a long time spent in the woods alone or suffered a lot of neglect from her previous owner. What was obvious is that she desperately needed help!

  • Upon realizing that this pup was actually a recent mother the story began to become much clearer. Yet another dog who has been deemed to be useless and dumped. When will hoomans begin to understand that a doggo's value is in their huge heart?

  • Just look at the hope in this sweetheart's eyes. It could very well be the first time that she has ever felt the warm touch of a hooman's hand. The first time she has ever felt safe and sound around a hooman.
