Grandpas really do have a way of saving the day. These two little kittens picked the right person to follow, because instead of leaving them behind, Grandpa made sure they were safe and brought them inside. Then he went one step further and found them a future home with someone he already knew would love them. Pinto and Lentil may have done the hard work of following him home, but Grandpa took it from there. Just another grandpa casually coming to the rescue.

We like to think Stormy had a little something to do with sending Pinto and Lentil her way. After all, Stormy started out as a stray kitten herself, so who better to point two little strays toward the right family? The fact that they showed up just two days later and refused to stop following Grandpa makes the timing feel even sweeter. Maybe Stormy knew her human would need some new little paws around eventually and decided one kitten simply wasn’t enough.

We love everything about this pawsome little story. Pinto and Lentil were just two tiny kittens playing in the street, and somehow they knew Grandpa was the guy to follow. They kept after him until he finally brought them inside, and now they have a future home waiting for them too. Not bad for two six-week-old babies who had to figure things out on their own. We’re just glad they’ll get to stay together and keep getting into trouble as a pair.
