Do you have a cat that allows you to dress them up? Then this is your season to shine! Skip the basic witch's hat or lion's mane costume every cat can pull off. It's time to let your creativity take the wheel. Your feline friend will thank you for it later.

Not all cats allow such frivolous behavior towards them. They are dignified, majestic creatures who do not have to give in to any of your human whims. You are beneath them, obviously. However, not all cats are the same. Some actually love to dress up! Our little feline fashionistas. We are grateful for you!

Now, it is spooky season, which is a furry fashionista friend's time in the spotlight. This is the time of year you get to be extra creative as a pet parent. Really look at your cat; think about it really hard. What kind of vibe does your cat give off? That is how you will figure out their costume for the year; they will tell you, somehow. Not with words, but with that special communication only cats and their pet parents can have together.

Purrhaps, you worship your cat. That's the perfect opportunity to dress them up as a CATholic. Or maybe you have a couple of fun guys who keep the house smiling. Then dress them up as fungi! Heck, you don't even need to get expensive with it. You could literally just wrap some colorful arts-and-crafts pipe cleaners on their heads and say they're a Teletubby! The options are endless!

Again, not all cats enjoy being dressed up. If that is the case, then don't torture them. Let them exist in peace. However, for the cats that don't mind it or even love it, a whole new world is available! Especially during this time of year. You don't need a partner to do a couple's costume; just do one with your cat! A cat mom or dad knows what it is like to be connected with your feline friend. So it only makes sense to have matching Halloween fits. A human and their pet cat can have such a strong connection that they can start mirroring each other, and their cats can even start to figure out when you are feeling bad and come to comfort you, or at least distract you for a minute. Maybe you and your cat can dress up as cojoined twins and stay attached at the hip! If you have a shadow cat, then you already know what that feels like.

This is a costume for a tripod cat, which is an underrated cat, if you ask me! I had a tripod husky for a while, and he was amazing, and I was constantly reminded of it. He was still very active; he was a husky, after all. So I would take him on runs and everything. Everyone who passed would congratulate the three-legged guy. But what about tripod cats! They are also so strong and brave! They deserve more praise. Like this cutie here who is using their lack of a 4th leg to sport some of the most creative costumes I've ever seen, period!
