Hey! It's Earth Day!
You also live on this planet and plan to continue to do so for the foreseeable future, right? So, take a minute to respect that it exists and maybe think how you can help make it less awful.
People like people who make things less awful.
Google is celebrating with "one of the Internet's favorite pastimes" — a quiz
From the homepage, you can take a short quiz that determines what type of animal Google will call you.
More than just a quiz, Google takes this opportunity to match contributions toward Earth Day-type organizations.
"Once you've gotten to know your deepest self (and animal avatar), we hope you're inspired to help make a real difference this Earth Day. For the month of April, we're partnering with our friends at Google.org, who will match donations to the following animal-loving organizations up to $20,000. That means every $1 you donate to one of these great groups is worth $2 to protect wildlife around the world. Chip in what you can at the Jane Goodall Institute, Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, World Wildlife Fund, WildAid, Zoological Society of London and Virunga Fund."
Google called Jane Goodall a whooping crane
They called Jared Leto a Woolly Mammoth
So what are you? You could be a cuttlefish...
You could be a Red Capped Manakin
Or a pangolin...
I got a mantis shrimp, because obviously
And so from us at Cheezburger...
