I still remember this, and it cracks me up! At least it goes to show how good a master Yoda was, and how much natural inclination Luke had towards using the force. He took the ‘fake it ‘til you make it’ thing way too literally. He showed up to Jabba the Hutt’s lair and was ready to start throwing hands with whoever tried to come close. He definitely looked threatening; that's for sure, and in the end he did end up slaying the beast, but oh boy, was it hard. He could have used an extra pair of hands; that's all I'm saying.

When I say Luke could have used another pair of hands, by no means am I saying that the rebellion wasn't helpful. They had a whole secret base, trained soldiers, and an entire operation running. They managed to enter the moon of Endor and fight all of those stormtroopers guarding the Imperial base. They were great! But to face two Sith all alone, without any backup, he was definitely at a disadvantage. The other remaining Jedi (official or not) could have gone with him, or better yet, Leia could have accompanied him! It was obvious she was as naturally inclined to feel a connection to the Force as he was. She managed to rescue him the first time he fought Vader because he called to her and she felt him!
If the plot had unfolded a little bit differently, Yoda could have trained both siblings to fight their father and Palpatine. For Vader to encounter and face both his children would have been a full-circle moment, not to mention an epic battle. We almost had a taste of Leia becoming a Jedi in the sequels, but were robbed of that as well. I will never stop being sorry that they grew apart and never got the chance to restore the Jedi order to its former glory. They were the children of the chosen one. If anyone could rescue and regain all the lost Jedi knowledge, it was them. Still, it's not like I'm appalled by Leia's unfolding of her life. She did end up being in charge of the resistance as a general, and she was always good at being in charge. But a part of me will always wish she had been right there by her brother's side, training together the next generation of young Jedi.
