Hunger Games memes for fans waiting to see Katniss and Peeta again in Sunrise of the Reaping

Who else is absolutely thrilled that Peeta and Katniss are coming back? 

The coming out of Sunrise of the Reaping is less than a month away, and we can no longer contain the hype! Even less now that we know that our original favourite couple is coming back to reprise their roles and make us all scream in excitement at the big screen when we see them show up. 

The original cast got together a few days ago, and it was as emotional for them as it will be for us to see them reunited. Jeniffer Lawrence mentioned that "It was so crazy. It was the same crew. And with Josh and Woody… it was so emotional. Josh and I didn't walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other." 

When you have such an iconic cast, who also deeply love and appreciate each other, coming back for round 2, it's impossible not to get super excited and have our expectations skyrocket in an instant. The whole prospect of having Haymitch telling his story to Peeta and Katniss after all those years is something we've been expecting since the original movies came out, because, after seeing who Haymitch became, we are left with more questions than answers. Who was he when he was young? How did he win? Who did he lose? How much did he change since he won? Well, for all the people who have already read the book, those questions, and many others, have already been answered. For those who haven't, they'll still have to wait until the movie is in cinemas to know. And while we wait for that to happen, we might as well use some memes as a good distraction.

  • Like all of us, I absolutely love that they brought back Josh Hutcherson and Jeniffer Lawrence to reprise their roles in The Hunger Games and wear the old District 12 clothes again. When you have such beloved characters, it's impossible not to want to see them come back time and time again whenever it's possible. However, I think it would have been amazing if they had kept the secret of their return. Can you imagine what it would have been like if we could just see them pop up on screen without having any idea that they were coming back? It would have been amazing! I can already imagine all the fans at the movie theater, screaming in excitement at seeing our beloved Girl On Fire again. It would have been much like it was to see the 3 Spider-Men together when they all appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home. They kept a secret that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were returning, and the reactions of people at the theater were priceless. I was one of them, mind you. I have no idea if other people knew (most likely they did), but I went in completely blind, and it was the best decision ever. At some point, I wish they had done the same with this one, but even so, I will be there at the movie theater, clapping and being thrilled about seeing Katniss and Peeta again. They better give them some spectacular entrance or something like that.
