"This stray that literally ran into our house and refused to leave. All we did was feed it once outside."

Sometimes, all it takes is that one moment of kindness. Some cats are waiting. They are just living out there and waiting for someone to show them love, show them that they can be trusted. Not all cats thrive as strays. In fact, personally, I think most of them would be better off inside. But some cats are really not made for that world. They need their blankets, 14 meals a day and endless cuddles whenever they choose to have them. This ginger was clearly ready. He was just waiting, and finally, you came, and you showed him love and kindness. After that, it was a done deal. He was not asking for purrmission. Your home was his home whether you knew it or not.

It looks like this little man made himself right at home with the other cats as well. He decided that they are going to have another sibling whether they asked for one or not. And you know what? These cats know how the CDS works. They know that the CDS doesn't ask questions. If a home has been assigned to this ginger, then the cats have no say in that, the same way that their humans did not have a say in it when the original cats got adopted. They accepted their fate. Like we all do when we get chosen. And look at that… once again, the CDS was right, and the three of them are the best of friends.
