They say you should never have a newborn baby and a kitten in the house at the same time. Since kittens are essentially little fur goblins with no control of their mean-beans, no sleep schedule, and a hankering for mischief, I can see why the experts suggest raising your hooman baby and your feline baby separately. However, there are wholesome exceptions where newborn hoomans and feisty kittens can become besties just outside the womb.
The woman in our next story was granted a kitten by the Cat Distribution System in the early stages of her pregnancy, which posed a conundrum. She would be forced to raise the kitten and the baby at the same time and in the same house. However, using his feline senses and exceptional intuition, Milo the orange kitten knew at an early age that his hooman mama had a little brother on the way for him to play with. When the newborn baby was finally born, Milo did the unthinkable and became this baby's feline pawtector, guarding the baby's crib, cuddling for warmth, and sharing wholesome cuddles with the kiddo.
Although he terrorized every adult hooman in the house, the baby became his best friend.
