Recently a New York Times Opinion Piece ,"Is This Dog Actually Happy?", created some stir in the Twitter community. The author, who studies dog behavior and cognition, argued that the portrayal of dogs in GIFs, memes and movies often 'anthropomorphizes' them and is degrading to the species...
