The infamous "The Last Judgement" by Michelangelo Buonarroti is the piece in the lower right hand corner, with the beautiful blue background. It took Michelangelo just over four years (1508-1512) to paint all of the frescoes on the Sistine Chapel ceiling. "The Last Judgement" was commissioned by Pope Paul III Farnese in 1535 and completed in 1541.
