Your Daily Bookcase: Low Overhead

This, dear readers, is almost a picture of my basement. It is not a picture of my basement, but I do have this exact same storage solution in place and it saved my sanity, my marriage and my soul.

I am not a fixer. I don't do power tools and have no DIY enthusiasm, but this was the easiest thing I've ever done and my home is an imminently more liveable place because of it.
