We all got to see the first trailer for Zoolander 2

In what can only be described as an overblown trailer for a movie about male modeling, the Zoolander 2 spot begins at the big bang and makes it all the way through to the big questions. Those questions are unfortunately asked by Derek Zoolander.

The trailer gives away very little information and all we can wonder is whether Mugatu has learned his lesson and whether David Duchovny will return.

We'll have to wait for an unspecified date in 2016 to find the answers.

The hitchBOT was beaten up and had to stop its journey after only two weeks with its thumb out

A sweet story about a few Ryerson University professors who tried to test the graciousness of humanity took a wrong turn Aug. 2.

Dr. David Smith and Dr. Frauke Zeller created a little robot, named hitchBOT, with some very light technical embellishments that they hoped would find kind people to take it along for a cross-country ride.

Unfortunately, hitchBOT only made it from Boston to Philadelphia before vandals struck, leaving the robot unable to continue his travels.

The creators gave a goodbye message on the webesite:

hitchBOT's trip came to an end last night in Philadelphia after having spent a little over two weeks hitchhiking and visiting sites in Boston, Salem, Gloucester, Marblehead, and New York City. Unfortunately, hitchBOT was vandalized overnight in Philadelphia; sometimes bad things happen to good robots. We know that many of hitchBOT's fans will be disappointed, but we want them to be assured that this great experiment is not over. For now we will focus on the question "what can be learned from this?" and explore future adventures for robots and humans.

Famous wrestler "Rowdy" Roddy Piper died July 31, putting to rest one of the most famous professional wrestlers of the past 30 years.

    According to NBC News:

Piper's agent, Jay Schachter, said in a statement that "Rod passed peacefully in his sleep last night."

"I am shocked and beyond devastated," Schachter said. "He was an icon, a legend, an amazing man and a true friend." In 2006, the WWE announced that Piper had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and would receive treatment.

Piper also starred in the 1988 John Carpenter science fiction film They Live.

Even though he ran out of bubble gum a long time ago, Piper continued to kick ass through the rest of his life.
