A 66-year-old Canadian man with an intestinal bacterial infection took fecal matter into his own hands when his local hospital denied him a fecal transplant procedure. Borrowing feces from a cousin after they were analyzed and deemed worthy, the man mixed them with water and gave himself an enema.
"I'm feeling good, but my fingers are crossed and I'm hoping and praying it doesn't come back," he said.
