Bo-Taoshi isn't so much an organized sport as it is a cultural tradition for young men in Japan. The game is simple: Climb up a pole. Stay on the Pole. Knock down anybody who isn't on your team so they can't get on the pole. Skip to 2:50 or so to see things get real.
