1960s fashion model Gita Hall May has filed a lawsuit against Lionsgate Entertainment for using her likeness without permission in the opening credits of the AMC drama series Mad Men. Although the show premiered six years ago in 2007, the complaint asserts May was only informed of her image's placement last year, which was lifted from a 1950s Revlon ad for Satin-Set hairspray without her consent. May is seeking monetary compensation for the use of her likeness in the title sequence, which won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Main Title Design in 2008.
