The Internet Is Obsessed With The Tanuki, a Huggable Raccoon-Dog

This adorable animal is a type of wild dog that is common in Japan. Although they look a lot like raccoons, they aren't related. They are not usually kept as pets but Twitter user @chibi_tori adopted and cared for an abandoned Tanuki they found. They call him Tanu, and he is adorable and a little confusing.
