Man in Stormtrooper Walks 645 Miles to San Diego Comic-Con To Honor His Wife

Kevin Doyle walked to Comic Con this year, all the way from his home in Petaluma, CA which is over 500 miles north of San Diego. To give you an idea, take a look at the Google Map:

Not only did Kevin walk around 600 miles to SDCC, he did it in full Stormtrooper armor:



He made this journey for his wife, Eileen who tragically passed from pancreatic cancer in 2012 at the age of 45. For Kevin, this walk is a way to celebrate and mourn the loss of his wife, keep a promise and raise money for a charity he's created in her honor. Called Eileen's Little Angels, the charity provides gifts to children going through chemotherapy.
