White House Petition of the Day: Yo Dawg, I Heard You Don't Like White House Petitions

Here's a petition recently submitted to the White House website We the People urging the Obama administration to shut the petition site down for being "a waste of Internet space." The request argues that the site "provides no real value" and is used to get press coverage from just a few popular issues selected by the White House media team. So far, the snarky appeal has quite a bit of ground to cover, as it only received around 300 of the 100,000 signatures that are need to prompt an official response.
