There's still a lot of good in this world and if you're in need of some good news today -- you need to watch this video below, shared by Asian News International (ANI), on Twitter.

In Southeast India, a female elephant who was separated from her herd of 18 elephants, got stuck in a deep swamp full of muddy water.

Thankfully, the Indian villagers were up to the tusk as they notified forest officials, police and the fire service who came and brought the necessary tools needed to help this gentle giant.

Badadue Kumar Senapati, the station officer at Uttara Fire Station, told NDTV that the entire operation took them two or three hours to free the elephant.

The huge crowd cheered as they successfully pulled the elephant's hind legs free from the mud, which helped the elephant finally rise and run from the swamp.
