Aaron Purmort discovered he had a terminal brain tumor soon after he met his wife, Nora McInerny. Since the diagnosis, they have been sharing details of their struggle with the world through their blog myhusbandstumor.com.
And before he died, the couple decided to co-write his humorous and touching obituary, which was published over the weekend in the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Purmort, Aaron Joseph age 35, died peacefully at home on November 25 after complications from a radioactive spider bite that led to years of crime-fighting and a years long battle with a nefarious criminal named Cancer, who has plagued our society for far too long.
"I've never laughed and cried more in one sitting, but I'm so glad we got to do this," Nora wrote on the blog.
The end of the obit also states that he is survived by his "first wife Gwen Stefani," which Nora tweeted about following his death.
I hope @gwenstefani and I can finally settle our differences. We both loved @purmort http://t.co/nDsUgP2QxF #RIPBigPurm

The family set up a crowdfunding page to raise money for medical costs and to help support his wife and child.
