Zoomies or no zoomies, every dog has an energy limit. Eventually, after tearing around the house and yard and chasing anything and everything in sight, at some point they will chill out. This is the best time, when the dog is nice and relaxed, and isn't jumping on you or humping the chair. A quiet time you can enjoy a quick reprieve before the dog's energy level's are back up again, and you're back trying to somehow bring their breakneck pace down a notch or twelve. Sometimes, dogs find some weird places to sleep, and they must be super uncomfortable to them. But when you need to snooze, you snooze.
