HBO released a statement to Entertainment Weekly in order to put Game of Thrones fans at ease after last night's surprising Brexit results. “We do not anticipate that the result of the EU Referendum will have any material effect on HBO producing Game of Thrones."
The show films in Northern Ireland and other parts of Europe and HBO uses funding and tax incentives from regional programs, but luckily not ones that are expected to be impacted by the vote.
