Photographer Beautifully Captures The Purity of Doggo Maternity Shoots

Is there anything more darling than a maternity shoot? Sure there is! If your model just happens to be a loyal, pure of heart, good girl two-year-old Dachshund named Sugar!

Sugar is expecting her first litter and who better to capture the moment than Washington-based photographer Laura Shockley? Laura Shockley specializes in maternity, as well as, newborn shoots. She made headlines last year due to her gasp-worthy shot of a newborn ecstatically outstretching his arms, as if thrilled to have finally arrived into this world.

Now, Shockley is sharing her newest photo-shoot via Facebook featuring a pregnant pup! "This little momma is going to grace us with some short legged puppers soon! I can not wait for the next milestone session for her, the grandmother (me) 'purchased' her the maternity/newborn package!," Laura wrote.

Shockley told PopSugar that Sugar is, "getting close to the end of her pregnancy and we took her for a day filled with pup cups and peanut butter treats, [and] it ended with her maternity session. If people can feel special on their photo shoot days, so can Sugar!"

We are definitely on-board with that!
