Brilliant: Woman Creates Tangerine “Force Field” To Prevent Her Cat From Attacking Christmas Tree

Irene Olocco from Italy posted a picture of her cat, Lord Victor Fluffypaw, staring at the Christmas tree…from a safe distance. How can it be, you ask, that the cat is not attacking the tree itself? Well, thanks to Olocco's brilliant plan! She knew her cat's greatest fear is tangerine so she put tangerines around the perimeter of the tree to keep the kitty away. Genius.

The Dodo interviewed Olocco about the tangerine shenanigans, and she said, "We were together on the couch, I grabbed a tangerine and, as I began to peel it, he hissed and ran away….I began to put oranges or tangerines on the furniture where I didn't want him to climb on and it worked."
