...and I'll punt your "Should I ask Tofu?" question over to another cheezfrend who has been quasi-collaborating (commiserating?) with me on the subject. This cheezer is on sporadically; stay tuned.

Thank you my dear! I have been bouncing around all day... trying to get work done and then the lure of ICHC is too much... And here I am again! :P

Ohai again. Doc says chest is clear & gave antibiotic as a precaution. As I said, "I'll live." (Meaning I didn't think it was serious.) :) {{HUGS}}

Well, I guess that's all you can do right now, is ask for God's guidance to get through this. I really do feel for you. I've had back problems myself, but lucky for me, they were short lived. But I know it's no fun. And if you're anything like me, when something goes wrong, the next thing you do is feel depressed....which only ADDS to the problems!! I keep wine coolers here for that very purpose. I don't have them often, but every now and then it helps to calm me down. BTW, we are the same age.... not sure if we discussed this or not. I'll be 55 in a couple of weeks. Ugh!! I'll say a few prayers for you!!! Hugs, (tender ones) Mary Jo

got to learn to take pictures. the camera is a handmedown that if she had stayed a few days over Christmas yesplis could have shown me so much more easily than figuring it out on my own. Good that you have that nice therapist right there purring you to feeling better.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry. My goodness, sounds like you are going through h*ll and back again!! So very sorry to hear that. I didn't even recognize some of the terms you shared with me... had to look them up! My Mother went through a bad time with her back when she was alive. She had lower back surgery when she was in her 40's, and it seemed like all through the years he had problems. CONSTANTLY used heating pads!! Then in her elderly years, she fell, and had more back surgery...the kind where they concrete the vertebras together. Finally after a few falls she had to take pain pills the rest of her life and use a walker. In a way, I'm glad she's gone, because she isn't in pain anymore. Back pain is no fun. I hope they can help you live a normal life. If I met you, I'd give you a hug, but promise not to squeeze too hard!! Take care....

Yeah, but now you're lurching in the other direction. (Pun intended.) You can't go from sedentary to active to sedentary to...no different from anyone else who needs to get in better shape. "Steady Eddie" is the key. Or was that "Steady Annie"?

Yep, two days in a row, but none since. I think the mice are finding the Blue Jays hidden peanuts and the salt makes them thirsty... Chance enjoyed a lil play with them, but isn't all that frisky. His hips seem to be bothering him more and he doesn't seem as comfortable on his pedistal. He dosen't use it daily and only stays on it a short time before he goes to bed... So far the firm is still working. They have cases to complete and will still get some, just far less. Yes, while our winter is done, we have had a couple spring rains and may have more Monday, but the forecaster wasn't very confident. It's predicted to get to the 70's today with continued warming over the weekend... Thanks... Just trying to be consistant. Yesterday was a bear after missing last Friday. My friend went to a convention and we both caught a cold on Easter. :( <c>

I hadn't heard of Lady Gaga myself until a few months ago, and then only because she's constantly being captioned on the lolceleb pages! (FWIW, I don't caption many pics on the lolceleb site because nine times out of ten I have no idea who those people are!) Thanks for your email, I'm glad you're starting to feel better and hope you continue to improve.

What I discovered about my own sciatica is simple really: as soon as I go above a certain weight I have problems. If I keep below 140 lbs I'm fine. Apart from that, moving is better than not moving (whenever I'm in bed for a few days with flu or something, I inevitably get back trouble). I also go to the osteopath about once a month to iron out any minor problems before they turn into major ones. That's it! Here's to a pain-free Easter for you, and more of the same as the year progresses. Good luck and all the best to you, Pipwood

oh what a cute Easter card! thank you! this is a link for free feldenkrais movement lessons.... it doesn't always keep my fibromyalgian under control...but works wonders on most conditions... keeps people moving freely and with better balance. Now that you are no longer in pain, this is a good way of staying well. http://kinesophics.ca/diyatm/audio

Physical Therapy. I remember having that after having my rotator cuff surgery. I remember thinking I could laugh or cry, so I decided to laugh! Believe it or not, it really helps. Good Luck!
