Six years ago, I got kicked out of my parents house for not having enough faith. I had no contact to my family since. My boss has been taking advantage of my flexible schedule. She changes my schedule with sometimes as little as 12 hours notice, and has been scheduling me for twice as many hours as I said I could handle (I'm in school). I put in my two weeks notice two weeks ago, and even though today was supposed to be my last day, she put me on the schedule for all of next week. I finally was able to stand up to her and say that I wouldn't do it, and IMMD!

My brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia 3 years ago, right around the time his daughter was born. His ex took the baby and disappeared. A year ago I found out that the little girl was being abused by her mother and step-father and was in foster care. I immediately applied for custody. She's been living with me for 4 months, but she is very distant and not affectionate because of how she was treated. Last night when I tucked her in bed, she hugged me for the first time. IMM Life.
