Something very positive to look forward to with a dear friend also creates endorphins. Kitteh generated endorphins are my fabrit kind. I'm headed off for Dream Land soon, Night-night. ~J~

Fabulous Felaine, there are so many ways to help the people here. If you wanted to make a monetary donation, I would recommend the Salvation Army. They, IMO, do some of the greatest work here in times of disaster and emergency. The Red Cross and United Way are also doing great things here. If none of those appeal to you, here is a list of agencies making big things happen: http://alabamapossible.org/2011/04/tornado-relief-how-you-can-help/. Other ways to get involved are Tide Loads of Hope (buy the special bottle, donate through their site, recommend our towns, etc.), Soles for Souls (gives shoes to disaster victims), or even send a love note (which I only found today and think is waaaay cool!) http://forsakengeneration.com/helpforalabama/notesoflove/ RE: Pumpkin, I really hate that it will be so long still before you can get Pumpkin. Oh, I will certainly attempt to answer every message that I receive. You can't give me permission to have bad manners, lol. Pixie just got home from visiting Mom's side of the family in Tennessee and has been telling me that they also got hit really hard property wise. No one would tell us, only that they were all physically "ok". It was my Dad's side of the family that had five deaths all in one family, including one baby out of a set of twins. Pixie is still shaken by what she has seen on this trip. It's not just bad, it's the worst thing you can imagine. Tomorrow she says that we will attempt to drive up to the marina and see if the little caravan that my folks put there is still in place or if it is missing. It's not actually a rubber-neck trip, but I'd like to know if Dad's hard work survived the tornadoes. That is something I really need to see first hand. Well, I'm away for a little while, going to do my PT and maybe make a bit of dinner. ~Jack

Well, it was just a thought, as I have a friend in Sacramento who I might could sweet talk into participating. The good thing is that Pumpkin is safe and happy right now, and will be home soon! (just not soon enough!) Glad you like my lollie, I would think that barristas could do the same with tea, if you take cream in it. After all, it's all about the stiffness of the cream to make the art! :)
