Hi there! How are you? I woke up in the middle of the night, & you came to mind, so I wanted to see how you are. Do you still like your new room? I was so happy that you got it! This summer has been SOOOOO HOT, (how hot was it?) Sorry, you've got to remember, I live in Johnny Carson-country :) Once I get home from work I felt either FRIED or like I was MELTING. My 'pooter has had a LOT of 'stoopy' moments too. This morning it has a bad case of the S-L-O-O-O--W-S-Fall has always been John's favorite season,but it always makes me a little sad to see the summer flowers go. I've got some mums that should bloom soon (yellow,gold,bronze & russet) & my sunflowers are still just a brilliant yellow. The wave petunias are still blooming happily. (They're my favorites,but sshhh- don't tell the other flowers. They get so jealous & then they act all droopy!LOL) We drove to 'Star-City' aka Lincoln NE yesterday & the trees along the road were turning soft yellow & the plum-thickets are beginning to glow a wonderful blood-red color. I didn't see quite as many Monarch butterflies in McNish Park behind our house,but I'm sure I just didn't look in the trees at the right time. (I kind of have to wait until the yard cats are eating so that they don't try to follow me.) John's trying to touch up the paint on the front porch so I probably should see how he's doing , & how much paint is on the wood & how much is on him! LOL !!
