When walking home after a rough day, do not immediately turn to the guy in the car beeping at you and call him a f**king degenerate pedophile. It will be your father trying to give you a ride. He will stop the car, get out, put you over his shoulder like when you were 7, and throw you in the car. You will have a very uncomfortable conversation about where you learned your manners and vocabulary. everyone around will stare. and possibly call the police. #LFMF
I was at the grocery store and their radio started to play "Thriller". I walked into an isle to see a man dancing to the song... until his girl smacked him saying "he was embarrassing her". He stopped, but as soon as she went into another isle, he started dancing again. Watching some guy having fun totally MMD.
I've been homeless for a few months now, living out of my car, and working at least 50 hours a week trying to find a home. Yesterday, a coworker borrowed my car and wrecked it. So one of my other coworkers let me stay with her for the night, my boss is buying me new tires, STRANGERS in the parking lot changed them and then sent me to their mechanic friend, who fixed everything for free, and another coworker invited me to come live with him. Their kindness MMD!
I was taking care of a cat owned by a cancer patient who couldn't care for them during their treatments. During that time, we had a real bad ice storm and the cat got out and ran away. This was her favorite cat and she was obviously upset because he stood no chance in the freezing weather . 3 months later when she opened her front door, the lost kitty was sitting on her front porch! Guess the kitty missed its mommy and made the 20 mile trek back to her house. The cat's safety MMD!
I was working at a computer shop. Two deaf girls entered and were talking with signing. My brother is deaf, so I can talk this way too, what is, in Germany and I guess everywhere else, rather uncommon. Waiting in line they were just discussing how difficult flirting is, when you can not talk and that all nice and interested guys run away in fear, when they recognize a girl is deaf. I signed: "Do I have to run away now, too?" Their look and laughing MMD.
Tonight my husband is taking me out to dinner with his first paycheck after being laid off for almost a year! Seeing him so happy and proud after a year of depression and rejection has totally MMD!
Today, two years after being told I should drop out because I would never graduate, I am graduating from High school with a scholarship to a prestigious university. IMMD.
After quite a stressful week at work, we were all feeling pretty low. Suddenly, we get told to find as many stress balls as we could, took them back to our department where we were allowed a stress ball fight! We even had someone use a whistle to let us know when to start and when to stop, and we all lobbed a few at our manager (who threw them straight back at all of us). A fantastic end to a stressful week totally MMD!!!
Today, while I was out for a run, I found a four-leaf clover. Since I had nowhere to put it, my running buddy (aka my mother) suggested I give it to a little kid. Not wanting to approach a stranger's child, I went up to a dad with three kids instead and said "I found a lucky four-leaf clover, do you know anyone who might want it?" "I've been looking for one of these my whole life!" he replied. As I jogged away, one of his kids said "Daddy, make a wish!" I hope it made his day.
A guy came into my college yesterday with a broken computer, which I fixed later that day. When he came to collect it, he handed me a huge cake which he'd baked himself. It turned out he was a professional cake decorator, and both the cake, and the computer being fixed, Made both our days!
I tend to use my shopping bags as trashbags in my car. So one day I forgot to lock my door and returned to find someone had gotten into it, thinking they were stealing a bag of nice new clothes.All they got was my garbage! IMMD
