I'd have to see what you mean. Winnie-Wonka used to mark her lols, but it gets tiresome, especially if you need the room
By NCcharmer on Jul 16, 2012 at 10:38 AM
Or, you can simply make the lols you want any way you want. If someone contacts you about it, say you're sorry and keep keeping on. It's really not that much to worry about. I don't and no one I know does because it's rare

Tucker Bentley explained it best. It's ok to jump into something you can expand on. Many of us give credit to the originator either on the photo or in the title

That looks like two people wanted to share the same news item and posted very similar captions. That kind of duplication happens often and isn't a problem. With the "Housewives of Rural Kentucky" one, there's just no chance the guy would have come up with exactly that same line on his own -- never mind that it's the same font, in the same size and color. There's no questioning what happened. See the diff?

Hi jedavispdx, thanks so much for the FR and for fav'ing my lolz. You have great lolz too. Really like Purrelope Garcia. Must be a Criminal Minds fan. Very nice to have a new friend. Barb

Thank you for your kind words, but alas, finding a jacket that would fit over my armor & horse would prove to be quite difficult.

Hey! No worries! As I said Great Minds Think Alike!!
By NCcharmer on Jul 15, 2012 at 1:22 PM
Yes, but you also have the option to see all the caption that have been made with that photo
By NCcharmer on Jul 15, 2012 at 9:01 AM
If you click on recaption a photo, it always shows you who did it. Or, you can click on See Old photos and see all the ones that has been done with that photo.

If that is the one we're talking about, I only remember that you put "original lol by TuckerBentley" on it somewhere, which suited me fine. Because the caption was my own original idea, I appreciated the fact that you made the point of giving me credit for my line when adding a creative twist of your own.

Hi, New Cheezfriend. Thanks for extending the floofy paw of friendshio toward me.
By NCcharmer on Jul 14, 2012 at 3:56 PM
She is correct. You are using her talent to promote your lol and you shouldn't do that without permission. However, if you took the blank photo and changed the caption completely, that is your talent.

If you're talking about the one that was made into a Who song, I recall that my username was thoughtfully placed on that for the purpose of giving original credit. That's the way it should be done imo. It wasn't just okay; it made my day.

Well Thanks...I pretty much do the same. I cannot stand a lot of the pony stuff and the ugly face stuff. I like wit...and when I see a few of someone who is really funny, I ask to be friends. Doesn't happen all that much. I don't have a ton of friends. But makes my Dashboard fun to watch anyway!

I just happen to be the beneficiary of the whims of the Cheeze Lords this week (or of the whiffs of whatever they's smokin"). Some of the winners are actually quite old, but I'm glad they got approval.
