You are 100% lying to yourself if you think this isn't the most metal, coolest bird you've ever seen. Nothing beats this. This is amazing. We are intimidated and amazed at the same time. Also, this song is definitely going to be stuck in our heads all day today, and we're not even mad.

Bird - psychodactyl This is the most punk rock thing l've ever seen

Font - defilerwyrm Follow What gets me is that initial pause. The bird knows this song. He knows when the drum comes in. Being able to anticipate musical rhythm is a form of intelligence very few species have, and this is the most remarkable example of it l've ever seen in a bird. The cockatoo knew to wait for the drums. 388,459 notes

It being able to recognize that it's coming and starting to stomp at the exact right time truly is impressive. God knows we miss the cue basically every single time a song starts like that. You know this bird loves this song too, the way it turns around and looks at you like: "this is my jam, and you know it yo."

Sky - northoftheroad Follow This has nothing, I mean nothing, to do with what I normally post about. It's not even my kind of music. But I just love that bird...

Human body - anxceit--rights Follow I don't know who cares but, that species of bird, the palm cockatoo, has perfect rythmn because that's how they attract mates in the wild, by drumming

Font - betterusernamethanthelastone Follow I like when they turn to the camera. It just feels like "What the heck, why did you start on the second verse?"

Font - villainous-queer Follow So fun thing I learned on a David Attenborough docu: parrots have about the level of understanding of what music is as a toddler. So they don't quite 'understand' it in the way adults and humpbacks do (notice he's not consistently on beat, exactly, but he does try), but nor do they only see noise as a way of advertising fitness or territory or warning, as other birds and animals do. It's really fascinating!
