In the days of yore beings known as the Orange Ones walked the world with their incredible wisdom, teaching, and giving hope to those pawdorable kitty cats in need. On their travels, these wise sages of shared wisdom came across a village in need of much help, plagued by a terrible curse. To remove this curse, these ancient heroes had to reduce their combined wisdom, until there was only one brain cell left for all of them.

Unfortunately for their descendants, this severe lack of brain cells made it impossible for them to literally gather their wits, cursing them and their adorable offspring to live their lives with one shared brain cell, to be incredibly dimwitted on most days, barring the one day a year that each cat would get custody of the brain cell, allowing them to have average intelligence for that day.
