20 Weekend Woofers for Dogs and Their People Alike

Woof, woof, it's the weekend! Finally, some doggo time.

We're extra excited every time Saturday arrives. It means the workweek is behind us, and the entire weekend is still ahead of us. Rest and recharge, or experience the weekend in full - anyway, it makes us happy. And we're sure you can also identify with the fact that, as dog pawrents, the weekend is even more exciting for us than other normies who don't raise dog children (seriously, who wouldn't?). It's because the weekend is finally the ultimate time to spend with your dog, and have no worries of other trouble whatsoever.

So, what are we planning to do with our dog this weekend? We're glad you asked. Read and you might get inspired to do some of these things as well. First of all, we're going to take them on their morning walkies as usual - what can we do? Dog pawrents need to wake up early anyway because their dog needs to go. But after that… we return to sleep mode, cuddling our dog. No time pressure at all. But then, we're going on a dog park run - got to make sure the dog and us get some energy out, after we're so charged up from resting.

And what about Sunday? There's a whole other day to this magnificent weekend. Well, since it's a nice and summery weekend, we're going to take our dog on a hike - let them experience the mountains, feel the wind on their faces, run up a river, and enjoy nature to the fullest. It's a pawfect plan for a summery weekend like this one. Our dog is going to love it so much. It's going to be such a wholesome surprise when they find out about this activity.

To be fair, dogs have always loved sticks as toys. Way before the fancy dog toys that we have today, with an enormous variety at the pet store, sticks were one of the only options for dogs. And now? This variety of plastic chewables doesn't even matter. If a dog finds a stick they like - it automatically becomes their favorite toy for the day.
