Japanese manufacturer Suzumo has created a sushi-making robot that automatically assembles individual pieces of sushi or cranks out rolls at a clip of 400 per hour. All the human operator has to do is keep it fed with a steady supply of ingredients.
Suzumo showed off the SushiBot at Tokyo's World Food and Beverage Great Expo last week, and claimed that it uses the same basic techniques as a trained sushi chef.
