A New Galaxy Has Been Discovered 12.9 Billion Light Years Away

This discovery, made by Japanese astronomers in Hawaii, is considered to be the oldest confirmed galaxy in the universe. There is a further galaxy sitting at 13.2 billion light years away, but it has yet to be satisfactorily peer reviewed. -JH
