Now I'm at the helm of the flagship hovercat, Miranda. They let me name it after my daughter. The thing is, I am not a pilot. I'm afraid of heights. I have no clue how to operate this thing. But they said it didn't matter. The pilots were just there as a comfort to passengers. The actual piloting is done via artificial intelligence. They call it the Piloting Algorithmic Computer, or PAL. He keeps me company, but his voice is a little creepy.
