Things might look bleak for Burger King come Halloween.

That is to say, they are possibly bringing a black-bunned burger to the states for October's celebration of all things spooky.

This is according to a Reddit post by well-named user bkleaks in which the tipster relays the information discovered looking over a new internal training site.

The leak discovered pictures and details about how to make something called the "'HA.1.LOWEEN' Whopper".



Of course, this is all very reminiscent of the black burger that Burger King sold last year in Japan.

In that case, the bun and cheese were dyed black with squid ink and most reviews said it didn't really change the flavor too much.

But, it still looks nasty.
