While going out for a walk in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Bryant Thompson noticed a man walking his dog through Shubie Park.
However, this was not a typical dog walk.
The dog was bundled up in blankets to keep warm and was lying in a wagon. Bryant spoke with the dog's owner and learned that the poor dog has ALS (Degenerative myelopathy, or better known as Lou Gehrig's disease), and is unable to walk on her own. For this reason, the kind man uses the wagon to help his furry best friend explore the world and get some fresh air.
Seeing these photos, we can totally understand why Bryan wrote on his viral post: "It's hard to type this without tearing up."
Thanks for sharing this wonderful story, Bryan!
