First Look at Our New Hagrid - and I Have Feelings

A few days ago, we got our first official glimpse of the new Harry Potter, and today it's time for another reveal: Nick Frost as Hagrid. And... okay. I have thoughts.

Now, let me start by saying I love Nick Frost. I've loved him since Spaced, I've loved him in Hot Fuzz, I've loved him in everything. But seeing someone else step into Hagrid's boots? That's tough. And honestly, it's not about him.

It's Robbie Coltrane. He was Hagrid. He didn't just play him - he embodied this big-hearted, slightly bumbling, endlessly loyal half-giant with a kind of twinkle you can't fake. The man had warmth in his eyes. That gentle, protective presence. That spark. Like Ian McKellen's Gandalf - someone you instantly trust to keep you safe, even when chaos is swirling around you.

Nick Frost looks good in costume, no question. But Robbie Coltrane felt like Hagrid. Maybe it's nostalgia. Maybe it's just me. But one of them looks like Hagrid, and the other looks like he's dressed up for Halloween. What do you think?
