Let's take a moment to appreciate this impressive video of beavers going off managing branches. Who knew these branch managers could be so good at branch managing! Color us impressed. Did you know that a beaver's front two teeth never stop growing? The way they keep 'em short is by their constant gnawing on wood!
Usually, within a dam, there are two dens created, one is for drying off when you first exit the water and enter the den. And the second den is where beavers and their family live. Who knew these animals were such architectural engineers? Beavers are also animals that work together as a team to protect against predators. Pretty cool y'all, pretty darn cool.
"Maple and Filbert stick together! Contrary to popular belief, beavers don't eat wood. They do, however, topple large trees to get at food and building materials using nothing but their front teeth and the powerful muscles of their lower jaws." Via Oregon Zoo.
