These wild dolphins have never seen bubbles like these before – how will these curious creatures react? We'll tell you how! Adorably! A professor and an underwater cameraman sail up to some dolphins, what comes next? Well, they set up a delightful bubble experiment, of course! As part of an experiment, a machine capable of producing delightful circular bubbles was set up near a group of bottlenose dolphins to see how they react.
The dolphins were immediately intrigued, but that comes as no surprise to us. We know that dolphins are incredibly smart and inquisitive creatures. One dolphin seemed particularly intrigued, she even checked out the bubble with not only her eyes but also with her clicks which allow her to use echolocation to learn more about her subject. Eventually, she braves the bubbles and swims up to them nose first! These dolphins are so delightfully playful and curious. We would call this experiment a success.
