Today we got a glimpse into the life of a barn cat and we have got to say we are totally jealous of this lifestyle. To wake up every day and think about whether or not we'd call over our goat friends for a good play session or go meandering around the beautiful wildlife featured on the farm, well that would be awesome. Sunflower Farm Creamery is a Maine farm boasting over 60 playful little goats that are born on the farm every spring. The goats love to run, play, hop, and snuggle. And apparently, so do their feline friends.
Sunflower Farm Creamery talks a little about their sweet cats and the exciting lives they lead. "Our older double-pawed cat Virginia and tailless brothers Roger and Phi,l are an essential part of our farm landscape! Being an outdoor cat comes with some risks, but every time I look at one of them and I think, 'you are the happiest creature I know!' I feel like that pure and happy life outweighs the dangers. That is how I want to live as a human after all so why wouldn't want the same for them? They seem to be living out their greatest cat adventure every day and in addition to rodent patrol, they serve the farm in countless other ways! Figured today was a good day to honor their work on the farm! Cheers to the cats who are kind enough to share the barn with some goats!"
