You know that ridiculous thing people say about cats and dogs never getting along? You know that it's not true, right? It's not that cats and dogs don't get along, it's that cats and dogs have a complicated relationship, and we respect that. They're very different from one another. Their behavioral patterns are almost opposite in some ways, which means it's easy for them to misunderstand one another. But that doesn't mean that they don't get along.  

Sometimes, you will catch cats and dogs snuggling with one another when they need comfort, and other times, those cats and dogs will be ashamed to have been caught canoodling in such a manner. Sometimes, cats will steal dogs' beds for no clear reason and befuddle them, and other times, kittens will be terrified of dogs because they're so heckin' big. And then there are unique times, like today, when cats and dogs meet for the first time, and we really cannot tell who is more spooked by the other.
