Wolves do all kinds of things that prove that. We have seen wolves get cozy in a pile of snow, the same way that your dog does when it lies down in its bed. We've seen wolves purposefully annoy one another just like your dog does to you or other dogs when it wants to play. We have seen wolves care for one another, like your dog does when it sense that you're not feeling the greatest. 

We have even seen a wolf cub let out its first howls, and it sounds just like a puppy. And when wolves get together to sing the songs of their people, like they are in this video, well… let's just say that if you have your dog around you right now, don't be surprised if it senses the call of its ancestors and sings along with them.
