As human beings, we're all kind of used to sickness being a part of our lives. We get sick, we get better. Sometimes, it happens quickly, other times, it takes longer. And sometimes, the sickness stays, and we have to take care of it. It's a part of our lives. But when it comes to our pets… somehow, sometimes, it's harder to accept. Now, in our time writing for Animal Comedy, we have seen animals go through all kinds of strange medical phenomena. We have seen a fish that can't swim get a homemade lifejacket made for it. We have seen a paralyzed dog learn to walk again with the help of his humans. We have seen a cat born with a strange lump on its head go through surgery and thrive.

The key to it all is having someone there to help. Painful as it may be to see – whenever it happens to us or to our pets – having someone beside you to help you can make all the difference- physically and mentally. And that's certainly true for the sweet, sweet pupper in today's video.
