Miracles happen - that's the lesson that this story taught us. That and that everyone deserves a chance. When you rescue a kitten off the street, you hope for the best. You hope that the kitten is healthy, you hope that you didn't tear it away from a mother that is looking for it, you hope that it will live and long and happy life with you. But that doesn't always happen. Sometimes, the kitty that you rescue has been abandoned by its mother not just because it's small, but maybe because it is sick.
The kitten in this story, thankfully, wasn't abandoned by its mother at all. The mother called for help, and luckily, there was someone there who cared enough to do something about it. That was the first miracle. The second one was that, despite being told that the kitten probably wouldn't survive past the first 24 hours, he kept on living. And not only that, but his seizures disappeared, and he started to walk on his own.
We even got an update from the owner: "[T]his was 4 or 5 years ago now and he's living the happiest life with his fur siblings, he hasn't had seizures in years, takes daily meds to ensure that, and we also found a home for his mom too!"
